garden growing

So far we have harvested multiple gigantic lettuces, a nice selection of radishes, and a very full salad bowl of strawberries. We're currently working on peas, carrots, potatoes, beets, and corn. Oh, and tomatoes. Always tomatoes, whether we want them or not.

We have so many packets of old seeds that we're planting things a bit willy-nilly, on the theory that they'll either come up or they won't, and if they don't it's no waste because the seeds have already been sitting around for so long. Seems to be working pretty well so far. The other thing we're doing that we've been very bad about is planting consecutive crops of the same vegetable.

In non-gardening life, I'm determined to get back into the swing of actually writing and posting, and so you get this: a little report because it's quick and easy to write and gardening is pretty much top priority right now. Got to get things in the ground and well established before the summer heat hits full force!
