updates

1) Tomorrow is Independence Day. Apologies in advance (but not really) to any of you who don't celebrate the holiday; there's going to be a lot of content going up over the course of the day.

2) After that, I'm going to acknowledge reality and take a formal break from LiveJournal for July and August. I've got some volunteer stuff going on IRL which is fun but a bit time consuming, and the puppy is going through teething, which is .. intense, and I just need to set something aside for a little while. Fully intending to resume in September.

Thanks again to everyone who's left comments--you all have gotten me through some lonely times, and I haven't forgotten you just because I suddenly have a ~social life for the first time since college.
