Fourth Sunday in Lent

It is perhaps not unfitting for this "social distancing" to be going on during Lent; we're meant to alter our behaviors temporarily and reflect upon unthinking habits, after all. It's just being enforced by the State for a change. But some things remain constant despite all the upheaval: despite what I said on Friday about the puppy, I am going to be trying to keep this blog running as close to normal as I can manage, and aside from today's note, I intend to ignore all the COVID-19 worry and discussion. This is a place for music, silly doodles, the occasional piece of fiction, and the now-traditional Wednesday screen cap spam. Nothing's going to change on that front, and I'll try to keep the navel-gazing well under control.

What wonderous love is this, O my soul?
What wonderous love is this, that caused the Lord of Bliss to bear the dreadful curse for my soul?

To God and to the Lamb I will sing!
To God and to the Lamb, who is the great I AM, while millions join the theme, I will sing!

And when from death I'm free, I'll sing on!
And when from death I'm free, I'll sing and joyful be, and through eternity I'll sing on!
