On the stamina bar IRL

I think the most useful thing I've gain from playing video games is the concept of the stamina bar--and just character stats in general. It used to be that when I'd have a couple social events in close proximity and then promptly fall into a slump for a week or two, I'd blame myself for not trying harder or something. I've come to accept, however, that this is simply how I'm built: my social stamina bar is teeny tiny and recharges very slowly, and if it's completely drained I just have to go into shutdown mode for a little while. It's okay, I'll start functioning normally once I've refilled my stamina bar--I'm not permanently broken.

(Well, as long as I don't get sick in the interim because my sleeping schedule's gone completely out the window. ...Anybody see a box of tissues around here?)
