Whch is your favorite nineth episode of SPN?

1.09 Home
2.09 Croatoan
3.09 Malleus Maleficarum
4.09 I Know What You Did Last Summer
5.09 The Real Ghostbusters
6.09 Clap Your Hands If You Believe...
7.09 How to Win Friends and Influence Monsters
8.09 Citizen Fang
9.09 Holy Terror
10.09 The Things We Left Behind
11.09 O Brother Where Art Thou?
12.09 First Blood
13.09 The Bad Place
14.09 The Spear

This is probably the first batch of episodes that doesn't really have a favorite of mine--none of these are ones I've rewatched with any frequency. Maybe "Clap Your Hands"? or "O Brother Where Art Thou"--Amara's fury and frustration over being unable to get a response from Chuck, Sam's determination and uneasiness about facing Lucifer again, and then the horror of being trapped in the cage with him.

Oh man, too many here for me to choose: I used to rewatch 2x09 and 3x09 allllllll the time when I was first getting into SPN, and I have probably seen 7x09 more times than anyone except the episode's actual editor... Uh. But 10x09 has probably some of the most emotional staying power out of any SPN episode for me. In the end, I had to go with 5x09, though, because S5 is the first season I watched live, and 5x09 is the exact moment I realized I was in love with this show and there was no turning back and I was in it for the long haul. (Just in time to get murdered by this newly established emotional investment by Ellen and Jo in 5x10.)
This is a tough one, but I went for Home. Sam has psychic powers, Dean leave a pleading message with their father, the two visit their own home, we finally see John in the preset day...
Another tough one! I love 'Clap Your Hands...' as it's so much fun, but I had to go for 'Home'.
Croatoan and Home are favorites, but I picked Clap Your Hands IF You Believe. Very well written, with so many funny lines... a perfect mix of humor and deeper stuff.
This was probably the easiest choice to me, too, with Clap Your Hands. I'm very fond of that one and always wished they would go back to fairies. I think they could have gotten a whole great season out of fairy villains, building on what Clap Your Hands set up and drawing from fairy lore!

There's a lot I like in here, though. I remember Home really sucked me in when I first saw it and I still think it's a great episode - one of the best in S1 for my money. Croatoan and I Know What You Did Last Summer are both excellent, How To Win Friends is another solid Edlund episode (who could forget that sandwich and high!Dean?? not the mention the heartbreaking end!). I really like O Brother, The Bad Place, and The Spear, too. Seems like this slot was usually for season-arc episodes, which are often amazing but for whatever reason are less likely to stick out in my memory than case-of-the-week eps.
