The Eagle has landed
Guys, have I mentioned recently how much I love space and space exploration and the Apollo program (and Gemini--Gemini did so much cool stuff that gets overlooked in favor of Apollo)? If not, well.... I really love it, yo. And this whole "50th anniversary of landing on the moon for the first time" thing has me even more hyped than usual. Need to get myself a SPACE icon sometime soonish.
Anyhow, this is the best video I've seen so far for getting a taste of what the actual landing was like:
Goosebumps, folks. Maybe a bit teary-eyed even.
Just.
We landed on the moon. How rad is that? (And how quickly can we get back there, please?)

The Dish is a funny movie though (the kids played the theme from Hawaii Five-O instead of the US anthem 😂)
