Happy Valentine's day

Give me a letter and I'll tell you three characters I love whose names start with that letter. And if you feel like playing along, how about telling me three characters you love whose names begin with the first letter of your username. :)

Oooh let's try a G! And my characters are Jon Snow (GoT), Jamie Fraser (Outlander) and John Sheppard (SGA).
And thanks for sharing the vid, I haven't seen it for a while and it's so deliciously dark!
Gandalf is the no-brainer, but I'll have to take a minute to come up with two more. Hm. Oh--Gawain! Not Mallory's Gawain, but the gracious and gallant Gawain that we see in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and the Marriage of Sir Gawain. And you know what, let's go with Glorfindel as my third--he doesn't have a large role in LotR, but it's a pretty vital one, and he's always interested me: the one elf sent back to Middle Earth after dying in the attempt to protect the survivors of the fall of Gondolin. He's unique in that respect.
Let's hear your W's. Mine would be Will Graham, Wonder Woman and would it be cheating to put down Sam Winchester?
If you can do Sam, I get to do Peter Wimsey, who is and will probably always be my favorite detective. The annoying this is that while at work I thought of someone blindingly obvious and wonderful--and didn't write it down so now I can't remember. Oh--Will Stanton from The Dark is Rising is a pretty neat character. I always thought he deserved a less lonely ending than he gets in the last book.

...Can't come up with any other W names, so I guess I'll have to go with Wendy Darling as my last one. Took some guts to first go off with Peter and then to decide to grow up after all.
I'll throw you a T
And mine would be Aragorn, Alexand deKoven Woolf from M K Wren's Phoenix Legacy, and Aeron, Queen of Keltia, from Patricia Keneally's Copper Crown.
Touchstone from the Abhorsen series by Garth Nix--winds up having to rebuild a kingdom after being in suspended animation for centuries. And he does it well, despite a whole raft of problems along the way.

Ten Ox from The Chronicles of Master Li and Ten Ox--he's not bright, but he's strong, loyal, and brave, with a pretty good moral compass.

Tiffany Aching--she's no Granny Weatherwax, not yet, but she'll get there someday.
I'll toss you the letter M.
Mine would be Dean Winchester (SPN), Damon Salvatore (Vampire Diaries) & Dexter Morgan (Dexter).
....this is proving harder than I expected. Let's see.

Mac/Duncan MacLeod from Highlander: the Series
Michael Westen from Burn Notice
........The Count of Monte Cristo. I know that's a title, not a name, but it's late and I'm drawing a complete blank otherwise.
I'll do both (or at least attempt it...):

Sam Winchester's a given, so here are three more Sams--Samwise Gamgee (LotR), Samuel Vimes (Disc World), Sam Carter (Stargate)

For Ls--Lirael (from Garth Nix's Abhorsen series), Luthien (Silmarillion), Lucy Pevensie (Chronicles of Narnia)
