Reviewish: No Man's Sky

....Okay, this is the third time I'm typing this up because every time I try to insert pictures the browser just keeps opening them inside the same tab I'm working in so I have to back-button out and all my text is lost. So, this is going to be shorter than originally planned.

Friend: "No Man's Sky" is on sale and you might like it
Me: grabs it now because the list price is ridiculous
Me: plays in creative mode so I don't die constantly
game: looks really pretty even if the flight controls are wonky and options in creative mode are weirdly limited
Me: spends 10 minutes on a desert planet just taking pictures because the sky is so pretty

Also, I had a lot of fun customizing my character to look like an astronaut, which is kind of pointless because I'm playing in 1st person POV, but it amused me, so oh well.

In sum: probably not the game for you if you're looking for space battles or the kind of landscapes you get with careful hand-crafting. But if you just want to drive a jalopy around on an alien planet and play space photographer, I can already vouch that it's a lot of fun.
