Z asked for 12, 13, 20 (and you can just pick four you like, proud is a bit of an odd way to put that)

12. A fic you wish you had written better, and why? - This might be cheating a little, but I'm going to say the first little run of SPN fics I wrote: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6

Looking back at them it seems glaringly obvious how unfamiliar with the characters I was still--there's nothing blatantly wrong, but they feel vaguely generic, as though I was still mostly coasting off their collective fanfic iterations instead of trying to match their canon selves. I don't know that it's a stage that could've been bypassed, but still. They're not fics that I go back and revisit happily (unlike some later ones).

13. Favorite fic from another author? Ack. This is almost impossible to answer. Um. Pulling a fic at random, because I love all of her SGA stuff, Praxis by miss_porcupine. It's just ... fun. And full of details and character bits that make it feel like something that actually happened. Similarly, la cocina es el centro de la casa by you, for all the same reasons and because you're a doll. <3

20. 4 sentences from your work that you’re proud of - I'm going to cheat a little, because I'm at work and so can't spend too much time digging around. But this is 4 sentences long exactly, and I still love it as an opening to the fic I'll never finish writing:

Despite what the folks in Punxsutawney would have you believe, the most important groundhog in the history of the world is not named Phil. The most important groundhog in the history of the world has no name--or at least nothing a human would recognize as such. In fact, the only thing of note about this groundhog is that it chose to dig a certain hole three inches to the right rather than to the left: on such choices is the fate of all creation hung.

(Take that, Tolstoy.)
