2. Favorite female character - Donna, because she is genuinely a cheerful person and doesn't have a dark and tragic past, just a jerk ex-husband who she knows is a jerk and is mostly putting behind her.
34. Funniest moment - Uh. This isn't a fair question. If we're talking a single moment, probably that cut in "Mystery Spot" from "does this taco taste funny to you?" to Sam waking up again. If we're talking an episode as a whole, probably "Ask Jeeves", especially all the stuff with Sam and the cougars. But man--there's so many moments that make me laugh in this show. Dean informing Jody that he killed Hitler, for instance. Ask me again in a week and you might get a different answer. (No, wait--funniest episode: "Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie". I can quote nearly the entire thing.)
35. Saddest moment - The end of "The Purge", when Sam pulls out Dean's heart, stomps on it, and grinds it into the floor.
20. Top 5 angels - Hm. In no order: Gabriel, Naomi, Metatron, Balthazar, and Zachariah. Who's a slimy creep, but a very effective character.
22. Top 5 monsters - Again, in no order: Bloody Mary, the soul eater from 11.16, djinn (in general), the Qareen, and Sully (though I guess he's not really a 'monster')
44. Best-done character death - Zachariah. So satisfying.
1. zmediaoutlet - a good buddy and a great blog (though occasionally NSFW)--her tags are a joy and a delight and she can be relied upon to provide rational analysis of stuff if requested. And also fic (though slowly, as her blog disclaimer warns ^_-).
2. SweetOnDean - where I get all my episode promo info from, and also generally-upbeat episode reviews/analysis. If you're looking for someplace to share enthusiasm for the show, that's the spot.
3. The Sheila Variations - Sheila O'Malley has been doing an slow-but-excellent, in-depth look at the entire show for several years now, and is currently working her way through season 3. (season 1 | season 2 | season 3)
4. NothingI'dPutBeforeYou - I giggle pretty madly over most of her "captions", I must admit
5. Out-in-the-Open - This is more of a multi-fandom blog, but there's a pretty high percentage of SPN stuff, including nice gifsets after new episodes air.
...okay, I could scrape a few more together, but that would be abusing the phrase "really love". The thing is, despite the fanfic and the screen cap sets and the reviews and everything, I mostly just stay in my own little corner. I've been so burned by fandom negativity that I mostly don't venture out anymore. But I hope there's something here that catches your fancy--they're all generally upbeat and still enthusiastic about the show, even 13 seasons in.
