Backyard Sightings

Sometimes I forget that we really are on the fringe between urban development and farm/woodland. And then I walk out the front door and meet a duck hanging around the car, which gets me to start making a list of what we've seen/met in our yard over the course of 20+ years in this house:
Bats
Deer
Ducks
Foxes
Groundhogs
Hawks
Mice
Possum
Rabbits
Small birds (I don't feel like trying to list out all the separate species; we have a lot, including the occasional humming bird)
Snakes
Squirrels (so ubiquitous I almost forgot them)
Toads
Turtles
Voles

Honorable mentions:
Owls (found frozen in neighbor's yard)
Skunks (smelled, not seen)

Not to mention feral cats, loose dogs, and chickens (ours).
