I've never actually played whack-a-mole

But it sort of feels like that's what I'm doing with whatever I have at the moment, symptom-wise. It's like, "oh, you just about have that ear infection drained out and your sore throat's almost all better? Here: time for a goopy eye and a cough!" I mean, seriously--I'm tempted to just call in to work and tell them I'm cashing in my remaining sick and personal days, and I'll see them next week.

Of course, I'll have to do partial days, just because at this point stuff's piling up that can't be managed by anyone but me. Maybe I'll just tell them my entire office is under quarantine and then scrub it down with disinfectant when this is all over. I'm definitely going to be doing that with my bedroom.

My mom is going to tell me to go to the doctor, but I'm pretty sure it's all viral, so there's nothing they can do.

Thanks for the well-wishes! It's definitely been more of a lesson in patience than I would have asked for. :P
If it's not too expensive, you might to go to the Dr. just to check things out if you've been having symptoms for a long time.
Well, we only just hit the one-week mark, and there is general improvement all around--so I'm not worried about it. (As my Mom reminded me, when we were kids it would inevitably take my sister and me 2+ weeks to get completely over mostly illnesses.)
