In lieu of anything written by me (it's in the works, but not yet finished), let me commend to you Tom Simon's stuff over at Bondwine Books, if you're a fan of fantasy. He has some excellent essays on the genre, as well as bits and pieces of his novels--which are well worth the price of admission, if you don't mind starting a series that's not yet finished. All in all, some good stuff there, and he really deserves to get a bit of word-of-mouth advertising.
