why i like reading things with family

For Lent, my family's taken up doing the daily lectionary readings after dinner, during clean-up (our kitchen isn't large enough for more than two people to be up and moving around at the same time, anyway). Today's readings included Psalm 78, which includes this verse:
He sent upon them His burning anger,
Fury and indignation and trouble,
A band of destroying angels.

My dad asked me to reread that verse, which I thought was because the water had been running, so he hadn't been able to hear properly. But instead, he said "Wouldn't it be neat if that's actually a list of the angels' names: Burning Anger, Fury, Indignation, and Trouble." I never would have noticed that, reading it silently to myself.
