hi (and news)

I'm in the process of cleaning out (possibly deactivating) my Youtube account, so I'll be posting some of the videos from my favorites list here, so I have some way of finding them again. So expect a somewhat steady stream of youtube posts over the next couple of weeks. Also, unrelatedly, I'll be changing job positions in two weeks, taking a much longed-for reduction in hours. Also a reduction in pay, but still enough to cover necessities with some left over, and that's all I care about. Never got out of the habit of living like a penniless college student. The main idea behind all this is that it'll give me the time (and energy) to finally try my hand at writing seriously. Er. In a more focused manner? At least not have to deal with the frustration of being all ready to write about 2 minutes before I have to leave for work. (Presuming that it's the timing and not the leaving-for-work part that matters).
