reviews: escher, scanimation

Masterpieces in 3-D: M.C. Escher. Words are insufficient to express how cool this is. If you come across a copy, snag it. In the meantime, here's Escher's official website, with some decent-quality images. (This one's especially cool in 3-D.)

Gallop! I'm a sucker for anything that does stuff without requiring batteries--in this case, animated pictures. Scanimation, this time, instead of 3-D. It's obviously meant for little kids, and isn't as mesmerizing as the Escher book, but still a lot of fun.

In conclusion, optical illusions are nifty.
