meeeeeeeeeeee; mother's day

Every now and then I'm seized by the urge to do the internet equivalent of jumping up and down and going "Hey guys, look at meeeeeee!!!!"

And then I tell myself to stop being silly and go back to being unproductive. And I do. But the urge is still there, lurking.

In other news, it's Mother's Day! Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers who might be reading this. I'm feeling very happy myself because I just gave my mom her finished Christmas present, which required many many hours of writing things out by hand and has been staring at me balefully ever since Christmas came and went and it still wasn't done. So that's something big off my To Do list. Also, she seems to like it, which is always a good thing in gifts.
