Ice storm

We had a terrific storm a few days ago - basically shut everything down. And once I was sure I wouldn't have any classes, and it wasn't snowing too hard see anything, I went outside with my camera - as did at least six or seven other people.

I'm not sure what kind of tree this is, but they're all over campus.

The main quad under ice.

It took all night for the creek to finish freezing over. It's still frozen over - or was, the last time I checked.

Pretty.

This was down on the new quad, surrounded by a lot of really slippery ice.

This is just some old building in historic Annapolis - somewhere around State Circle, if I remember correctly.

Clicking on any of these will take you to a larger version in my picture gallery.
