Backyard Sightings

Sometimes I forget that we really are on the fringe between urban development and farm/woodland. And then I walk out the front door and meet a duck hanging around the car, which gets me to start making a list of what we've seen/met in our yard over the course of 20+ years in this house:
Bats
Deer
Ducks
Foxes
Groundhogs
Hawks
Mice
Possum
Rabbits
Small birds (I don't feel like trying to list out all the separate species; we have a lot, including the occasional humming bird)
Snakes
Squirrels (so ubiquitous I almost forgot them)
Toads
Turtles
Voles

Honorable mentions:
Owls (found frozen in neighbor's yard)
Skunks (smelled, not seen)

Not to mention feral cats, loose dogs, and chickens (ours).
Indexing:
Well, our bird population doesn't seem to be hurting--they're everywhere, and very noisy at 4:30 in the morning.
I got you beat. We've had coyotes and bobcats in my neighborhood.
Well, apparently coyotes are creeping their way across the state in our direction--so we'll probably have to start dealing with them at some point. There's the occasional bear in our area, but they usually get nabbed pretty quickly by Game & Wildlife and punted back into more wooded and less-populated areas.
